Like so many of you, our family can’t just pack away our busy life to galivant around the world.
Instead, we do our best to fit travel into the gaps between our 9–5 Yorkshire life, with local micro-trips in the United Kingdom, long weekend getaways in Europe and the odd two-week adventure abroad thrown into the mix.
And so this blog is filled with ideas and inspiration for travelling as a family and combining your full-time job with part-time travel. And just to be thorough we have thrown in reviews of hotels & restaurants, our favourite travel resources, our detailed packing guides and plenty of additional travel tips. Thanks for stopping by! We are Kat and Gary, the founders of A Life Beautifully Travelled – a British travel blog for part-time adventurers.
We created this blog to catalogue our favourite travel memories and share practical advice from trips we have genuinely taken. Since then, we have made a conscious effort to explore more of the places around us.
