There are a wide variety of travellers around the world – from part-time travellers, to full-time backpackers, luxury travellers, eco-friendly travellers, and so many more. While I try to make this blog as comprehensive as possible for part-time travellers (like me), I simply cannot cover all the bases.

So below I have listed my favourite travel blogs and resources around the web in case are looking for further travel resources.

Matt is originally America and has been traveling around the world since 2006. He mainly focuses on budget friendly travel and creates very detailed guides. His blog is one of the most popular travel blogs on the web.


Y Travel Blog

Caz and Craig are a young married couple originally from Australia. They have lived in 5 different countries and have visited over 50 countries. Their blogs is incredibly informative and a good resources for travelling with young kids.


Nomad Revelations

Joao, the author of this blog, hails from Portugal. He has been traveling around the world for 15 years. He has also lived in several countries. He has visited 100+ countries around the world in his 15 years of traveling. Not only are his posts a great read, his photography is stunning.


Expert Vagabond 

Mathew has been traveling around the world for 4 years. He writes about adventure travel and photography. If you like photography heavy blogs, then this is one is for you.





Weekend Candy

Claire is a British Travel Blogger and avid weekend Traveller. If you are a part-time traveller who lives in the UK, this is a great source of ideas for weekend getaways.

I Am Aileen

Travis and his wife Heather have been traveling around the world for two years. On their blog they show their readers how to travel more for less. They also host an awesome podcast.



Norbert is an architect with the goal of visiting all 195 United Nations recognized countries before the end of 2020. Over the past 4 years, he has proven that you do not need to be rich to travel the world. What you need is the desire and knowledge on how to travel on budget.

Shannon began travelling the world in 2008. She wrote a book about volunteering) and National Geographic named her me Traveller of the Year. She focuses a lot of ethic and environmentally friendly travel and wants to connect travelers to local causes and communities.





Adventurous Kate

Kate’s first solo trip was to South East Asia, where she stayed for 6 months. Kate’s blog has great advice on travelling around the world easily but safely.


The Blonde Abroad

Kiersten is from California and has visited 40 countries. She has an incredibly entertaining blog and her sense of humour make her posts a pure pleasure to read.






Mark’s travel blog is completely focused on food around the world. If you are a foodie traveller then you will love this blog, its gastronomic photography, great tips and recommendation. Mark also hosts a very entertaining youtube channel.


Silverspoon London

Angie’s wanderlust and desire to see the world has taken her around Europe, South East Asia, Australia, the USA and South Africa. She is an avid foodie and her restaurant reviews simply are a must read.


Mondo Mulia

Giulia is a food and travel blogger and photographer, who lives in London. She focuses on restaurant and caffee reviews, as well as travel guides.


Legal Nomads

In 2008, Jodi quit her job as a lawyer and took off to travel. In the early 2000s she was diagnosd with celiac disease. She understands what it is like to be afraid of what you are eating, and to worry that it will make you sick. So she created a great resources for travellers with celiac disease.


Forks and Footprints:

Megan writes about the real side of traveling with Celiac disease and food allergies. She is open and honest about her experiences traveling through South East Asia and Central America. Her goal is to inspire those with food allergies to go out and see the world and not through an organized tour, cruise, or all inclusive. She is working to show that it is still possible to eat at street stalls and like locals, safely.


52 Perfect Days

Alexa is a travel blogger and travel podcaster who has shares her love of travel with her son. She is also a gluten free foodie who loves a great Cabernet or chardonnay. She has a great section on her blog about Gluten Free Travel.
